Please tell me about Vegas Casinos Invitational Slot Tournaments. What perks can I expect?

I’ve been to daily walk-up slot tournaments many times in Vegas, but I’m now invited to a two-day tourney at the Monte Carlo. It’s free, except for the room and my companion’s buy-in fee [$250 – completely optional]. Should I expect any general perks while attending…free food, drinks, show tickets…or will everything just revolve around the tournaments rounds themselves?     Congratulations, the Monte Carlo is one of my favorite spots to gamble on the strip, I had one of the best blackjack runs of my life there.

    I don’t play the slots, but my wife does, and she got a similar tourney offer last fall through the players club card, I think. When we went, our room was comped off her account, and we got the daily buffet free, along with drinks, etc. No show tickets, but some freebie admissions were offered.

    All in all, we were treated first class the whole trip, and had a blast, made better by a medium sized win she scored in the slots tourney.
